Magical Creatures & Items Guides
Magical creatures and items are purchased with sickles from your Gringotts account on Magical Hogwarts. You must have the suitable funds in your character's account in order to purchase a pet. Gringotts has its own list of specific rules, available in the Gringotts Guide and Rules
In order to purchase a Magical creature or item, you will have to have the proper amount of sickles in the account of the character you are buying it for. For example, if you want to have your character Sue Anne buy a phoenix, you can't take the 3000 sickles from your other character, Bobby Joe's account. We don't allow multicharacter transfers between sickles anyway so this shouldn't be too much of a surprise.
To purchase either an item or a creature, you must first take the time to look through the price lists below. Once you've made sure you have the proper amount of sickles, go to the Gringotts Transactions Queue and fill the following form out on the character you're buying for:
From: (your character's name)
To: Magical Item Registry
Amount?: (however much the pet or item is)
Purchasing: (pet or item that you're purchasing, so that the person
booking your transaction may verify prices)
After your transaction is posted, you must wait for the Gringotts staff to book it here and for the Administrators to add your name and creature/item to the approved list before RPing with them. Because the staff works fairly quickly, this should not be too much of a problem, but patience is rewarded. If you are caught RPing with a pet or item you are not posted as approved for, your pet or item will be revoked and your sickles will not be refunded. If you do not obey Gringotts' rules, your transaction won't be booked. Please pay heed to these things.
