Mini Plots are events that your character can get involved in all around the world. Some are school specific, and others are for all of the players to get involved in. Details are left open to interpretation so you can use your imagination to make it your own! Post [Mini Plot] in your thread title and post the thread link here! FPP points and other prizes will be given to drivers who participate.

Hogwarts: Rita Skeeter published a scandalous new book „the truth behind the Hogwarts dome“ that reveals a plot behind the dome. A secret organisation is mentioned as well and, of course, Rita did not shy away from pulling names into this. She mentioned prominent families to be in on the ploy which is supposedly meant to undermine the authority of the headmistress and other staff of the school. The staff is naturally outraged by these lies. Some students find themselves in the unpleasant situation of  seeing their family name mentioned in the book. To make things worse the book sells well and is advertised everywhere.

Beauxbatons: As the months grow colder, there is more than blustery winds and the first hints of snow to make the students shiver: whispers of a sighting of a giant, just at the edge of the school grounds, are gripping the student body. Staff and students alike can do no more than guess where the enormous creature may have gotten to, but their suspicions are not eased by the arrival of Rubeus Hagrid, who has been announced as "interim caretaker" and has moved into a large tent on the grounds. The residents of Beauxbatons are welcome to investigate these strange developments by exploring the grounds or attempting to weasel information out of their foreign visitor.

Durmstrang: In order to make students think about their lives and plan their future a career week is going to take place at and around Durmstrang. This is not solely meant for older students although the fifth years and above are the only ones who get a career advice from a member of staff. However, everybody is invited to spend a day at the ministry, at a shop in Belushya Guba or elsewhere or in any kind of business that allows students to join the staff for a training day. Students should take the chance to learn about different jobs and figure out which profession works best for them. At the end of the career week the students are supposed to write an essay about their experiences. The most interesting and best written essays can earn them chips for their house.

Ilvermorny & Koldovstoretz: Continuing to host the students of Koldovstoretz until the 4th of November the school of Ilvermorny has shown the world what International Magical Cooperation really looks like. Though their time spent together is coming to an end the witches and wizards of both academies have made bonds that will last them a lifetime. Now is the time to say goodbyes, get contact information for the future, and maybe purchase a souvenir or two in the School Shop.

Mahoutokoro: It is time for Bunkasai, the annual open-day cultural festival held by Mahoutokoro students, and students and faculty alike have bustled to finish their presentations and make the school campus look lovely! The first weekend of November, Portkeys will be available in all other schools to visit Mahoutokoro for November 3rd and/or 4th. Professors will hold mock classes both days for anyone who would like to get a taste of Japanese academia, several students have offered to share their quarters with overnight visitors, and there will be displays of foods, clothing, and magical wonders scattered across the courtyard and the dojos.

Worldwide: In the most disturbing instance of the animal activists' uprising yet, there was a series of organised raids in Africa, beginning with the Nigerian zoo, where Snuggles the Rompo was laid to rest. The raids were carried out by a group that called themselves the "Snuggles Initiative", leaving tagged notes on the walls such as 'SAY NO TO ZOOS' and 'CAGES OR JAILS?', which changed to 'WE WILL NOT BE SILENCED' when the magical cleaning squad attempted to remove them. Despite government efforts to hush these operations, they're gaining international notice, and similar raids have started occurring in different countries. People are getting restless, as different animal rights activists in Britain have also started attacking farms and reserves, destroying things like dragon hide and wand core materials to the point where they can no longer be used.
